.Net framework 4.5.2 for Visual Studio 2010

.Net framework 4.5.2 for Visual Studio 2010
Visual Basic 2010 Advanced Compiler
Visual Basic 2010 Advanced Compiler
If you have installed Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7, 8, 10 recently, you will notice that you have all .Net Framework versions available, and you will notice also that you Windows updates .net framework versions to a higher versions (i.e. If you have .net framework 4, windows will update this to 4.5) but you won't find .net framework v4.5 in your Visual Studio 2010, why ?!

Because targeting .net framework 4.5 via Visual Studio 2010 Each version of VS prior to Visual Studio 2010 is tied to a certain .NET framework. (VS2008 is .NET 3.5, VS2005 is .NET 2.0, VS2003 is .NET1.1) VS2010 and beyond allow for targeting of prior framework versions but cannot be used for future releases. You must use Visual Studio 2012 in order to utilize .NET 4.5.

Visual Basic Online Course FlexGrid

Visual Basic 2010 - FlexGrid

Visual Basic 2010 FlexGrid
Visual Basic 2010 FlexGrid
The Microsoft FlexGrid (MSFlexGrid) control displays and operates on tabular data. It allows complete flexibility to sort, merge, and format tables containing strings and pictures. When bound to a Data control, MSFlexGrid displays read-only data.

You can put text, a picture, or both, in any cell of an MSFlexGrid. The Row and Col properties specify the current cell in an MSFlexGrid. You can specify the current cell in code, or the user can change it at run time using the mouse or the arrow keys. The Text property references the contents of the current cell.

If the text in a cell is too long to display in the cell, and the WordWrap property is set to True, the text wraps to the next line within the same cell. To display the wrapped text, you may need to increase the cells column width (ColWidth property) or row height (RowHeight property).

Use the Cols and Rows properties to determine the number of columns and rows in an MSFlexGrid.

Note : Before you can use an MSFlexGrid in your application, you must add the MSFlxGrd.ocx file to your project. To automatically include the file in your project, put it in the Autoload file. When distributing your application, you should install the MSFlxGrd.ocx file in the users Microsoft Windows System directory. For more information about adding an ActiveX control to a project, see "Standard ActiveX Controls" in the Visual Basic Programmers Guide.

How to add a FlexGrid component to Visual Basic .Net Form ?

- MSFLXGRD.OCX is a COM not a Net component but it can be added to a .Net Form in Visual Basic 2010 and work with it. In order to do so :

1) Open Visual Basic 2010 - New Project - Windows Form Application

Visual Basic Online Course ProgressBar

Visual Basic 2010 ProgressBar Control

VB2010 Progress bar - Visual Basic Online Course

Using the ProgressBar control Example :

- Create New Windows Project
- Button1
- ProgressBar1
- Logic : We will generate 4 MessageBoxes by clicking the Button1 Control and everytime a messagebox shows up, a ProgressBar step will be taken.

Progress Bar Class : In .Net Framework4.0

A ProgressBar control consists of a window that is filled, by default from left to right, as an operation progresses. The control has a range and a current position.
ProgressBar overrides the metadata of the Maximum property and sets its default to 100. ProgressBar overrides the metadata of the Focusable property and sets its default to false. For more information, see Dependency Properties Overview.

Customizing the ProgressBar Control

To apply the same property settings to multiple ProgressBar controls, use the Style property. You can modify the default ControlTemplate to give the control a unique appearance. For more information about creating a ControlTemplate, see Customizing the Appearance of an Existing Control by Creating a ControlTemplate. To see the parts and states that are specific to the ProgressBar, see ProgressBar Styles and Templates.
Dependency properties for this control might be set by the control’s default style. If a property is set by a default style, the property might change from its default value when the control appears in the application. The default style is determined by which desktop theme is used when the application is running. For more information, see Default WPF Themes.

NoteNote
Setting a visual property will only have an effect if that property is both present in ProgressBar control's default template and is set by using a TemplateBinding. You can find a list of visual properties in the "Changing the Visual Structure of a Control" section in Customizing the Appearance of an Existing Control by Creating a Control Template.

How to call a Progress Bar from a Module in VB 2010

In addition to our example about Progress Bar, what if we wanted to code the progress bar to call it from another level [Module Level] !

Create Visual Basic 2010 Windows Form Application
Place a Progressbar (Progressbar1) control on the Form (Form1
Add new Module (Module1)

Code :

Now, run your application and click on any part of the Form1, you will notice that the ProgressBar is working.

Project Folder on DeskTop With DataBase Inside
- What do we want to do ?!!!!
we want to update the database (MyDB) Table (Kinds) Record (Kind) using DataGridView (DG1) From MS Visual Basic .Net 2005 on WinXpSp2 Home Edition ........ ahahahaha ok?!!

We will use NO buttons, we will only use DG1 Events :
1) For Adding New Record : you type in the cell in the dg1 and hit Enter Key
2) For Editing : you Edit a cell that already have been saved and hit enter
3) For Deleting : you Select a cell in the DG1 and you hit Delete key in the keyboard .
* Of course you can not add Empty Values because we have the record (Kind) is Primary Key (PK) .
* You can not Delete the (New DG1 Row) ...
All you have to do now is to open the Form1 Code and Clear all lines using (Ctrl+A) and (BackSpace) then Save Project (Ctrl+S) then Paste (Ctrl+V) these blocks of Codes :

Codes above works 100% just create the database and the table and the record successfully,

Visual Basic Online Course - Activate Visual Studio 2005

In the name of ALLAH, the most gracious and the most merciful

MS Visual Studio 2005 Activation and Serial Number

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 History

Visual Studio 2005, codenamed Whidbey (a reference to Whidbey Island in Puget Sound), was released online in October 2005 and to retail stores a few weeks later. Microsoft removed the ".NET" moniker from Visual Studio 2005 (as well as every other product with .NET in its name), but it still primarily targets the .NET Framework, which was upgraded to version 2.0. It is the last version available for Windows 2000 and also the last version to be able to target Windows 98, Windows Me and Windows NT 4.0 for C++ applications.
Visual Studio 2005's internal version number is 8.0 while the file format version is 9.0. Microsoft released Service Pack 1 for Visual Studio 2005 on 14 December 2006. An additional update for Service Pack 1 that offers Windows Vista compatibility was made available on 3 June 2007.
Visual Studio 2005 was upgraded to support all the new features introduced in .NET Framework 2.0, including generics and ASP.NET 2.0. The IntelliSense feature in Visual Studio was upgraded for generics and new project types were added to support ASP.NET web services. Visual Studio 2005 also includes a local web server, separate from I.I.S., that can host ASP.NET applications during development and testing. It also supports all SQL Server 2005 databases. Database designers were upgraded to support the ADO.NET 2.0, which is included with .NET Framework 2.0. C++ also got a similar upgrade with the addition of C++/CLI which is slated to replace the use of Managed C++. Other new features of Visual Studio 2005 include the "Deployment Designer" which allows application designs to be validated before deployments, an improved environment for web publishing when combined with ASP.NET 2.0 and load testing to see application performance under various sorts of user loads. Starting with the 2005 edition, Visual Studio also added extensive 64-bit support. While the host development environment itself is only available as a 32-bit application, Visual C++ 2005 supports compiling for x86-64 (AMD64 and Intel 64) as well as IA-64 (Itanium). The Platform SDK included 64-bit compilers and 64-bit versions of the libraries.
Microsoft also announced Visual Studio Tools for Applications as the successor to Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and VSA (Visual Studio for Applications). Source WikiPedia
